Rovaniemi is the official home of Santa Claus, visited annually by thousands of tourists wanting to catch a glimpse of him in his log cabin, located on the edge of the Arctic Circle. Rovaniemi is also the capital of Finland's northernmost province, Lapland. This vast expanse of arctic tundra has no craggy mountains or fjords but is covered by an endless sea of pine forests and rounded fells (tunturi) that break up the forested landscape. An area of stunning beauty, this short 3-day Private Journey includes a visit to the Santa Claus Village combined with the opportunity to experience reindeer and husky sledding among the stunning Arctic scenery.
