Full day at leisure. Today, visit some of the capital's best gardens including the Kings Garden, Det Kongelige Danske Haveselskab, Landbohojskolen and the renowned Tivoli gardens (entrance included). (B)
Morning drive to Forst Botanical gardens and continue to Horsholm to visit the Arboretet, which contains over 2,000 species of trees and bushes. This is the largest of its kind in Denmark. Return to Copenhagen via the castles of Frederiksberg and Fredensborg. (B)
Morning drive to the Renaissance castle of Gisselfeld (entrance included), whose glasshouses host an excellent collection of exotic and plants and orchids. Continue to Gavno, which is one of Denmark's finest rocco castles which have impressive landscaped gardens. Stay at the First Hotel Grand Odense or similar for 2 nights. (B)
Full day at leisure. The home city of Hans Christian Andersen, visit the museum dedicated to his life. (B)
