Morning cruise through the narrow Strudengau en route to Weissenkirchen. On arrival, transfer to Melk, tour the magnificent and historic Benedictine abbey, one of Europe's largest baroque monasteries and which has survived as an active Benedictine monastery since its foundation. It was the inspiration for the novel The Name of the Rose. Afternoon cruise to Krems. On arrival, transfer by coach to the city of Dürnstein for a city tour. Morning tour of the Austrian capital, Vienna. View the the Opera House, the Ringstrasse and St Stephen's Cathedral. Afternoon at leisure or take an optional tour to Schönbrunn Palace and perhaps a Mozart and Strauss concert this evening. (B, L, D)

suites with balconies and the Owner’s Suite,

restaurant to casual dining in the main lounge,
alfresco dining and private dining in the wine
rooms. All meals are included on the cruise
