Fly via the USA to San Pedro Sula and stay overnight at Hotel Casa del Arbol Galerias. (N)
Transfer to Copan for a 3-night stay at Marina Copan. Take guided tours of the Mayan ruins and museum and visit Finca el Cisne, a family run coffee and cardamom plantation and working cattle ranch. (B)
Transfer by road to small artistic town of Concepcion de Ataco on the Route of the Flowers in El Salvador, via the shrine of the Black Virgin in Esquipulas, Guatemala, and the Salvadorean towns of Metapán and Santa Ana. Stay for 2 nights at Hotel Misión de Angeles. Full day tour to explore lakes and volcanoes of the scenic Flowers Route. (B)
Transfer by road to Suchitoto in El Salvador, with a stop en-route at La Joya de Ceren archaeological site. Optional visit to the village of La Mora and take a walking tour to learn about the civil war. Afternoon walking tour of charming Suchitoto and overnight stay at Los Almendros de San Lorenzo. (Option to add an additional night stay in Suchitoto). (B)
Travel to the mountain town of Perquin. Visit the Museum of the Salvadorean Revolution and the village of El Mozote to learn about the history of the civil war. Continue to the port town of La Union for an overnight stay at Comfort Inn Real La Union. (B, L, D)
Early transfer to the port and travel by boat across the Gulf of Fonseca to Potosi in Nicaragua. Continue by road to the artistic colonial city of Leon. Stay at El Convento for 2 nights. Take a city tour, visit the ruins of Old Leon and the San Jacinto geothermal springs. (B)
Explore the mangroves of the Juan Venado nature reserve, then transfer by road to the delightful lakeside city of Granada. Stay at Dario Hotel. Take a morning nature hike on the Mombacho volcano. Optional excursions include a city tour, a full day visit to Ometepe Island or an evening visit to see the glowing lava of the Masaya volcano. (B),
Transfer to Managua for the flight to London via the USA, arriving next day. (B)
