Republic of the Congo holidays
One of the main drawcards for travellers to the Republic of Congo is the ease of gorilla tracking. However, the country also offers other wildlife spotting, rivers cruises and visits to the lively capital of Brazzaville.
The Ndzehi Forest is an area of primary rainforest with high densities of both western lowland gorillas and chimpanzees. Habituated western lowland gorilla groups can be tracked on foot and observed in their natural environment.
An area in the Odzala-Kokoua National Park called Lango Bai (open forest) is a magnet for many forest mammal and bird species such as forest elephants, forest buffaloes, sitatungas, bongos and diverse primates.

Travel in motorised aluminium boats, kayaks and traditional pirogues in search of forest elephants, forest buffaloes, primate species like putty-nosed monkeys and de Brazza’s monkeys and birds.
