Manafiafy Beach & Rainforest Lodge is located a short drive away from the village of Manafiafy. The accommodation consists of six private bungalows and is an intriguing combination of rainforest lodge and barefoot luxury beach property rolled into one. Each spacious en suite bungalow has an indoor seating area and its own sundeck with separate access to the magnificent unspoilt beach. Meals are taken with the other guests and your host in an open-sided bar and dining area. Swimming and snorkelling from the beach is excellent. Activities offered at Manafiafy include day and night guided rainforest walks with indigenous bird and lemur sightings, boat safaris both along the river (to look for crocodiles) and on the ocean to deserted beached for snorkelling and swimming. Whales may also be viewed between July and December.
