Fly from London (regional connections available) to Nairobi with British Airways. Transfer to the Ole Sereni Hotel (2 Superior rooms) for 1 night. (N)
Transfer to Wilson airport and fly to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Stay 3 nights at Kichwa Tembo Camp (2 Superior tents or a 2-bedroomed family unit, subject to availability), situated in a prime wildlife area just outside the border of the Masai Mara National Reserve. Being outside the reserve allows for a greater variety of activities. Afternoon wildlife drive. (B, L, D)
Days at leisure or take part in the optional safari and cultural activities included in your stay, such as day and night wildlife drives, guided bush walks, Masai village visits and (at an additional cost) a balloon safari. Fly to the Laikipia plateau via Nairobi. Transfer to Ol Malo House for a 3-night stay. Ol Malo House is a six-bedroom house, perfect for accommodating families. The hub of the house is a large and beautiful sitting and dining room with open fireplaces encircled by three en suite double bedrooms. Separate cottages create a further three double bedrooms. A flagstone path leads to a large open area overlooking the infinity pool.
Ol Malo is a 2,000-hectare, family-owned and operated ranch. There is endless fun to be had with activities including wildlife drives, medicinal plant walks, horse riding, camel treks, overnight fly camping, cultural visits and learning how to survive like a member of the Samburu tribe. Fly to Ukunda airstrip via Nairobi and transfer to Waterlovers, a tropical paradise set on the white sands of Diani beach against the backdrop of the Indian Ocean. Stay here for 4 nights (2 separate suites). Each suite has a private veranda overlooking the ocean. From Waterlovers it is easy to arrange daily excursions (at extra cost) such as a dhow (sailboat) safari, a guided walk around Mombasa town, a visit to a local village or to the Colobus Monkey Trust, windsurfing, fishing and golf. The camp is located on the western border of the Masai Mara, in south-western Kenya. The camp is situated at the foot of the Oloololo Escarpment on the fringe of a riverine forest and overlooks the plains of the Masai Mara National Park.
