Just 40 minutes by car from Mahe International Airport and 30 minutes from the capital, Victoria, this relaxing retreat is situated on two lovely beaches and is set within 120 hectares of lush, rare vegetation as well as protected mangroves. The Olare Orok Conservancy, through its strict limit on bed numbers, offers an incomparable wildlife viewing experience without crowds. Accommodation is in six spacious, fully insect-proof, custom-designed tents, equipped with twin or double beds, linen, bedside tables, luggage racks and rugs. Bathrooms are en suite and are equipped with a dresser, flushing lavatory and a traditional safari bucket shower with a view. There are comfortable chairs on each veranda overlooking the plains. One tent can be converted into a triple on request. There is a spacious well furnished lounge and dining tent, although meals will generally be served alfresco if weather...

The camp has nine tents with en suite safari-style bathrooms, which means that the water will be heated up for you over the fire when you are ready for your shower. The camp is very eco-friendly and only provides LED lamps and romantic safari-style lanterns. Activities at the camp include wildlife drives and guided...
