| 06 Mar 2018

To celebrate the launch of Cox & Kings’ new arts & culture collection, we invite you to an evening of talks and aperitivo. Together with the Estorick Collection of Modern Italian Art, the Turin and Langhe e Roero Tourist Boards, the night will be dedicated to the art and culture of Turin.

Turin

On Tuesday 20th March from 18:00 – 20:30 Cox & Kings invites you to an evening of art and culture. This event is by invitation only and will be held at the Estorick Collection of Modern Italian Art, 39A Canonbury Square, London, N1 2AN.

Turin: Art & Aperitivos, Slow Food & Truffles is a new 5-day / 4-night escorted tour to Turin, part of Cox & Kings’ arts & culture collection. The tour discovers Turin’s mouth-watering cuisine as well as its art, architecture and design. Find out about the history of the Slow Food movement, which celebrates traditional cooking and uses renowned local ingredients such as the Alba truffle. A day trip to Alba reveals the secrets of truffle hunting and includes a visit to the world renowned white truffle fair.

Other highlights include a tour of Porta Palazzo food market – Europe’s largest covered market – with a local chef, a meeting with an artisan chocolatier and a cocktail masterclass at Casa Martini to learn about Turin’s famed aperitivo, usually made with Martini Rosso’s vermouth. Visit the 1920s-designed Lingotto building, the former Fiat factory, and the first EATALY food hall, which is dedicated to Italian produce. A private, after-hours tour of the Museum Accorsi-Ornetto with the director has also been arranged.

I would like to attend.
