your motorhome and drive east to the

Day 6 – Rotorua:

Continue east to the
wine-producing region of Hawke’s Bay. Stay 2

Day 9 – To Wellington:
Continue south along the
Classic New Zealand Wine Trail to Wellington

Day 11 – To Abel Tasman Region:
This morning,
take the Interislander ferry across to South
Island. Continue to the Abel Tasman region. Stay

to explore the Abel Tasman National Park. (N)

Day 13 – To Hokitika:
Drive south along the
rugged west coast, visiting the pancake rocks
at Punakaiki en route. Stay overnight at

Day 14 – To Franz Josef:
Continue south to the glacier town of Franz Josef. Stay overnight
under your own arrangements. (B)

Day 15 – To Queenstown:
Morning at leisure.

Afternoon drive to Queenstown, visiting the
lakeside town of Wanaka en route. Stay 2
nights under your own arrangements. (N)

Day 17 – To Milford Sound:
Drive to Milford Sound, passing through spectacular scenery
and small towns. At Milford Sound wharf, board
the Milford Mariner for an overnight cruise

Day 18 – To Dunedin:
Morning cruise of the fiord. Afternoon drive to Dunedin, a city with
Scottish influences and history. Stay 2 nights
under your own arrangements. (B)

Day 19 – Dunedin:
Day at leisure. For optional

or local wildlife. (N)

Day 20 – To Lake Tekapo:
Morning drive
to Lake Tekapo. Stay overnight under your

and return your motorhome. Transfer to Peppers
Clearwater Resort for 1 night. (N)

Transfer to the airport

In this itinerary, accommodation in the Coromandel Peninsula, Rotorua, Hawke’s
Bay, Abel Tasman, Franz Josef, Queenstown,
Dunedin and Lake Tekapo is in your
motorhome under your own arrangements. Cox & Kings cannot pre-book campsites and
they must be booked by you locally. Please
note that your first choice of campsite or
accommodation may not always be available.
