Fly to Georgetown, via the Caribbean.
Stay at Cara Lodge for 2 nights. (N)

Visit Kaieteur and Orinduik Falls. (B, L)

Day 3:
Fly to the interior and stay 2 nights at
Iwokrama River Lodge. (B, L, D)

Day 4:
Walk up Turtle Mountain for views over
the forest. Continue to see the Amerindian
petroglyphs. (B, L, D)

Day 5:
Wildlife walk along the Iwokrama
Canopy Walkway. Overnight at Atta Rainforest
Lodge. (B, L, D)

Day 6:
Morning excursion to look for cock-ofthe-
rock. See village life in Surama and stay at
the Surama Guesthouse for 2 nights. (B, L, D)

Day 7:
Climb Surama Mountain and observe river wildlife. (B, L, D)

Day 8:
Continue to Rock View Lodge for 2
nights. (B, L, D)

Day 9:

Travel by boat to Karanambu Ranch

Explore the flood forest and enjoy a

Search for giant anteater and river
otter. Transfer to Caimen House, home to

Day 13:
Return to Georgetown and take a
city tour. Stay overnight at Cara Lodge. (B, L)

Discovery Tour:
Most Cox & Kings tours are based on 4 and 5-star accommodation, or the best available. However, in some countries with a developing tourism infrastrucutre, some of the accommodation can be quite basic, and some of the road journeys may be longer and rougher. Whilst 'Discovery' tours can be very rewarding they are typically suited to the more adventurous-spirited traveller.
